PUBLIC HEARING.  Excelsior Township S/D #1 (Crawford School) will be hosting public hearings to receive input and share information regarding the possibility of starting school prior to Labor Day for the 2023-2023 school year.  In requesting a waiver from the State of Michigan, public hearings are required.  The public is invited to attend these public hearings on May 10, 17, & 24 at 3:00 pm.  Hearings will take place at Crawford School.

Crawford Excelsior School District #1 enjoyed a very successful first semester of the 2022-2023 school year! Based on mid-year NWEA assessments, our students are showing academic growth for the year. We look forward to our third and final assessment in May. While assessments are one measurement of growth, we are pleased of the social & emotional growth of our students. Behavior referrals are infrequent and quite rare. Our students are modeling the Crawford School Pledge, something they recite each morning.
